charge by Ferrandis, who went

past the halfway point for third.

give McElrath his first win of 2019
following a pair of third-place
finishes to start the season.
"It's just learning throughout
the season," McElrath said. "We
had a really good off-season, but
you can't really do a bike setup
without going to the races. So,
that's really what we've been
struggling with, and just my
comfort. That's really what we've
been searching for. Two thirds
the last two weekends has been
pretty upsetting, just because of
Nichols snatched a big hole-
shot in the second main event
and led the first half of the race
before he succumbed to pres-
sure by Ferrandis and fell over in
a turn. Ferrandis took the lead
and led the rest of the race,
while McElrath improved to finish
second, and Nichols hung on
for third. Cianciarulo had a big
crash midway through the race
and ended up 14th.
It came down to the final main
event, and Cianciarulo led early,
but McElrath was on the move
and worked his way by Nichols,
then pressured and passed
