But at Anaheim 2, Webb
righted the ship.
In the first of three Triple
Crown main events, Webb
hounded points leader Ken Roc-
zen (Honda HRC) for the entire
race before, two turns before the
finish, Roczen made a mistake
in a rhythm section and Webb
sneaked by for the lead. Webb
gled bars with Dean Wilson and
went down, destroying his left
shoulder. In the time since, he's
been hurt as much as healthy.
His confidence had taken some
serious hits. And he left Yamaha
for KTM as a sort of last-ditch at-
tempt at returning to the promise
he showed in the 250SX class,
and early in his 450SX career.
