CN III VOICES W H A T Y O U A R E S A Y I N G What Herlings does on a dirt bike is amazing to watch—very similar experience to watching James Stewart in his prime. Jeffrey Herlings: CN Rider of the Year Great choice. Herlings deserves the honor. Even though I live in Oklahoma and cheer on the Americans at the Motocross of Nations, you cannot deny that he just might be the fastest mo- tocrosser in the world right now and has certainly raised the bar in GP motocross racing. I would love to see him come to America full time to erase any doubts as to who really is the best in the world. John Erickson Phenomenal talent. What Herlings does on a dirt bike is amazing to watch—very similar experience to watching James Stewart in his prime. It would be nice to see Jeffrey Herlings de- velop some humility though. His arrogance, i.e. kissing the red plate on the podium, is a bit of a turn off as it was with that type of behavior with Stewart. Phil Dilmore Good article. A true champion. Martin Wolf Motocross is better because of Jeffrey Herlings. He makes that KTM fly like it's got an extra gear. Antonio [Cairoli] was also phenom- enal this year and teammates with Herlings; [the two] battling it out for a champion- ship through some serious injuries showed that these guys are truly hardcore MXers. Congrats to Jeffrey Herlings on the championship, well de- served and earned. Gregory Eddinger I bet the Yanks hope he stays in Europe. Neil Fox Come on over! He's fast and probably fastest, but let's prove it on all courses. John Rincon America wake up, SX is killing American motocross. Jim Busby Anaheim 1 Supercross There's a new deputy in town, and his name is Colt Nichols. Allen Harrington Good on Justin Barcia, great ride, great guy. Great ride by Cooper Webb, as well. Good ride by Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac and Dean Wilson. Rookies looked good, as well. Mookie [Malcolm Stewart] definitely Mookied again. Great start to the 450 sea- son, I believe. Andy Kemps NBC Supercross Coverage It was decent. RC went offline a few times, however, it was noth- ing terrible. Daniel and Will were decent, as well. Ralph was solid as usual. It sucks "Fro" is gone but times change. Bring back Eckman, Bailey and RJ! And remember, rac- ing coverage is better than no coverage. Sean Webb I wouldn't say it was better or worse. Not a fan of yellers. Wayne Nagata Too bad Jeff Emig won't be part of the broadcast team this sea- son. He was one of the two best commentators to ever cover SX/MX, the other being David Bailey. Phil Dilmore Get rid of the damn leaderboard on the side and move it back to the top of the screen. It takes up too much room. Missing a lot of the track with it where it is. Dave Wilson I already miss Emig. Jim Reel P6 Letters to the editor can be sent to voices@cyclenews.com. Published letters do not necessarily reflect the position of Cycle News.
