ENDUROCROSS
HAS NEW
OWNERSHIP
B
onnier Corporation, the recent owners
of AMA EnduroCross, has sold the race
series to long-time event producer WHR
Motorsports. Little information has been
released about the acquisition but accord-
ing to a release from Bonnier, many of the
race locations will remain the same. A 2019
schedule has not yet been announced.
The following is a release from Bonnier:
WHR Motorsports, a long-time event producer
from Kent, WA, has reached a deal with Bonnier
Corporation to acquire the EnduroCross racing
series, the premier motorcycle Enduro series in
the United States, announced today by Jonathan
Moore, SVP of the Events Division for Bonnier
Corporation. The acquisition adds to the WHR
events line up which includes Arenacross, Super-
moto and Indoor/Outdoor Monster Truck events.
WHR plans to hold dates in many of the same
markets as 2018 with the possibility of additional
markets. EnduroCross has a formula that has
proven to work over its long history and WHR is
looking forward to building on that success. WHR
plans to continue to create challenging tracks
for the riders and produce action-packed events
to which EnduroCross fans have grown accus-
tomed to. CN

Chad Reed will
lead the JGR/
Yoshimura/Suzuki
team into battle in
the 2019 Monster
Energy AMA
Supercross Series.
I
t's official. Chad Reed, Justin Hill and
Weston Peick will make up the JGR/Yo-
shimura/Suzuki in the 450 class in the 2019
Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series.
Peick, however, won't suit up until he's
fully recovered from the facial injuries that
he suffered at the Paris Supercross. He is
hopeful that he'll return before the end of the
season, but we attend the races and sign
autographs.
The four-rider 250 squad will be made up
of Alex Martin (new to the team), Kyle Peters,
Jimmy Decotis and Enzo Lopes.
It was also recently announced that An-
swer Racing will be the official gear brand
for the JGR/Yoshimura/Suzuki 250 Factory
Team through 2020. CN
