for a fall on the first lap in the final
race, the Pole might've made it a
clean sweep. As it was, Blazusiak
had to settle for 1-1-4 results.
Blazusiak's main rivals on the
night were the two American indoor

n front of a sold out crowd of
13,500 fans in Krakow's Tauron
Arena, local hero Taddy Blazu-
siak thrilled the crowd with the
overall win at the opening round of
the 2018-'19 Maxxis FIM SuperEn-
duro World Championship.

could muster a win on the night, yet
they still finished out the evening on
the podium, Webb (2-3-2) in sec-
ond and Haaker (3-2-3) in third.
The only other winner of the
night besides Blazusiak was Span-
ish star Alfredo Gomez (KTM) who
topped the third and final race,
taking full advantage of mistakes by
his rivals. Gomez just missed mak-
ing the podium in fourth (4-4-1).
The evening, however, didn't
start out all that great for Bla-
zusiak; he had the Polish fans
a little worried after he finished
third to winner Webb and runner-
up Haaker in the SuperPole, but
Blazusiak quickly put them at ease
after winning the first of three fea-
ture races quite handily. The KTM
rider, Blazusiak, jumped out to an
early lead and slowly pulled away,
while the Americans fought over
