HONDA OPENS NEW PLANT
IN BANGLADESH

onda has opened a new motorcycle manufacturing plant that Bangladeshi officials hope will make
motorcycles more affordable in their country.
The plant is a project of Honda Private Limited, a joint venture of Japan's Honda and state-owned
Bangladesh Steel Engineering Corp. Reports say the plant's initial annual production capacity is
100,000 units. By 2021, the capacity could double. CN
TRIUMPH UNVEILS NEW
BONNEVILLE SPEED TWIN

riumph has taken the wraps off their new Bonneville Speed Twin roadster. The new machine
pumps out 96 horsepower and 83 lb-ft of torque from the 1200cc parallel-twin engine from a
claimed dry weight of 432 pounds. Triumph says the new bike is 22 pounds lighter than the Thruxton
and 60 pounds lighter than the T120.
Braking is taken care of by Brembo, with ABS and switchable traction control, LED headlights, three
riding modes of Sport, Road and Rain, a USB charging port and retro styling with the twin rear shocks.
The show rolls on new seven-spoke aluminum wheels, with a clear anodized swingarm and three
colors of Silver Ice and Storm Grey, Korosi Red and Storm Grey, and Jet Black. No word yet on price
