BR Motorcycles will renew
production of the EBR
1190 RX Superbike in "limited
numbers," with company
owner Bill Melvin moving
production from Wisconsin to
Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This is the fourth time
EBR has been rescued from
extinction, and this time it'll
be in the smallest production
numbers yet for the boutique
sport bike brand.
"The approach is to keep
it boutique and high-perfor-
mance driven, ala Bugatti,
Koenigsegg or Lotus," Melvin says.
The motorcycles will be assembled by engine builder Eric Webber and
chassis tech Elliot Malzahn, both long-time Buell/EBR company men.
More motorcycles are planned for 2019. CN

ick McFadden will switch from
the M4 medAge Suzuki team to
the RiCKdiculous Racing team for the
2019 MotoAmerica Supersport Cham-
pionship.
McFadden will join 2018 champi-
onship runner-up Hayden Gillim and
Junior Cup racer Gauge Rees in the
Colorado-based team. RiCKdiculous
Racing had previously come to an
agreement to run 2018 series cham-
pion JD Beach to partner Gillim,
however, with Beach's promotion to
the Superbike ranks at Attack Perfor-
mance in place of Josh Herrin, one of
the prime spots on the grid became
available for McFadden.
"We put stuff together, and they
presented me an offer that I couldn't
turn down," McFadden said. CN
