dubbed "The Fastest Party In Town."
All the proceeds from the practice sessions
went straight to the Steve McQueen Memo-
rial fund for Boys Republic, a place where

n 1989 Hollywood stuntmen Kenny Alexander
and Jimmy Roberts created the Day In The
Dirt Motocross Grand Prix. It was a day—actu-
ally three days—of racing that was inspired by
the lifestyle and vibe of the famous actor and
motorcycle racer, Steve McQueen. The under-
lying theme of the three days that took place,
