T
he Thor Florida Winter Olympics, presented
by Pro Circuit, has been a long-standing tra-
dition—47 years to be exact—in the amateur
motocross racing community. The weeklong "Mini
O's," hosted by Unlimited Sports MX, is one of the
five events that make up the prestigious American
Motocross Championship Majors, and not only
does this race attract top racers from the United
States but also from many countries.
The Mini O's combine both supercross- and mo-
tocross-style racing, where racers have the chance
to win number-one plates in both categories.
This year, the Mini O's officially got started a day
earlier than usual, giving the SX riders a chance to
practice on Sunday afternoon instead of the usual
Monday morning practice that led right up to the
racing later that same day. Having full practice on
Sunday allowed for much wanted longer practice
sessions. Supercross racing started Monday with
seemingly hundreds of heat races and qualifiers.
The mains started and finished on Tuesday.
