ANDERSON CROWNED KING OF PARIS
2018; MUSQUIN, PEICK INJURED
J
ason Anderson (Rockstar
Energy Husqvarna) came
away as the overall winner at the
2018 Supercross de Paris at the
U Arena, November 17-18.
In the three-race format (three
races per night), with the duration
of each moto gradually increas-
ing, Anderson won three of the
six over the course of the week-
end, going 1-3-1 Saturday, and
3-1-1 on Sunday.
"The race was tough with
some close racing on both nights
and I'm happy with the overall
win," Anderson said. "The motos
were short and I had to work a
bit harder to make things hap-
pen. My lap times were not that
good in qualifying and the super
pole, but I was very happy with
my speed in the motos and that's
what matters the most. I showed
some good race craft this week-
end and that's positive. I'm head-
ing back to the U.S. now. I hope
I can come back even stronger
for A1."
The win comes on the heels of
his victory at the AUS-X Open in
Australia the weekend before.
The other two winners besides
Anderson were Anderson's team-
mate Zach Osborne and local
star Dylan Ferrandis (Yamaha).
Ferrandis won Saturday's second
race, and Osborne topped the
opening race on Sunday.
Ferrandis ended up second
overall for the weekend and Os-
borne third.
For Osborne, this was his first
race aboard the FC 450. "It was
my first race as an official 450
rider and I felt really good on my
new bike," the former 250 Pro
Motocross and AMA Supercross
Champion said. "Overall, it's
