start from pit lane for dawdling
in practice, he had worked his
way into the top 10 when he fell,
remounting for a distant 23rd.
Martin is now unassailable on
240 points; Bezzecchi and Di
Giannantonio are close on 214
and 205 respectively; then Bas-
tianini 166 and Dalla Porta 151.
Moto2-bound Bastianini's third
made him the most successful
Moto3 rider in terms of podiums,
with 24.
Today's win finalized the
triple-crown for Honda, with both
the Constructors title and (for
Gresini) the Teams, to add to the
Riders crown. CN
(Hon) and Masaki (KTM), with
Migno and Yurchenko missing
out by a couple of feet.
Aron Canet made a lunge for
the lead on lap 10, but slipped
off the EG-Honda almost at
once. Earlier, John McPhee,
Alonso Lopez and Dennis Fog-
gia fell together out of the front
pack; and stunning novice Ce-
lestino Vietti, riding the injured
Nicolo Bulega's SKY VR46
KTM, was in the podium posi-
tions for a second race when he
slipped off.
Another sad story involved
local hero Adam Norrodin
(Petronas Honda). Penalized to
Jorge Martin (88) and
Lorenzo Dalla Porta
(48) fought for the
Moto3 win, which went
to Martin, as did the
championship.
