H
aving accounted for seven
wins out of the nine rounds
of the 2018 Kenda AMA
National Enduro Series, it's safe to
say the Baylor Brothers, Steward
and Grant, certainly have woods
riding down to an exact science.
The Tely Energy Racing KTM
riders put those skills on display
at the final round of the series in
Stanton, Alabama, for the Gobbler
Getter National Enduro, where
Grant claimed his fourth win of the
season and second in a row, while
brother Steward clinched the this
year's championship title.
And there was plenty of turkey
to go around. Steward's title was
his second in a row and the third
of his career.
"Some people think there is
a secret to our winning," said
Grant. "But it just boils down to
experience. Stew and I have been
racing national enduros for a long
time and that's all it is."
Grant put his vast woods-riding
experience to good use in Ala-
bama by winning the opening test
of the day. He would add two
more test wins before the end of
the 60-mile race to extend his
advantage to 29 seconds over
second place to claim the win.
"Today was awesome," said
Grant. "The course was a bit
slippery and it was hard to get
stopped in places. I fell over in a
few turns, but after I won that first
test I just tried to be smooth and
not lose the advantage."
While Grant cruised out front,
