VOL. 55 ISSUE 44 NOVEMBER 6, 2018 P35 Texas finished second with a 2-2 ahead of Arizona resi- dent Ed Foedish, who ended third overall in the 50+ Pro class with a 3-3 score. In the Women's Pro class, former FIM Motocross World Champion Steffi Laier once again made the trek to Glen Helen and again dominated the class. Laier led the way in both motos in Saturday's Pro race, and again in Women's Expert on Sunday. Laier didn't have it easy by any means, as former Arenacross racer Vicki Golden made her first appearance at the Vet MX event. Golden finished second with a 2-2 on both days ahead of Holly Breck on Saturday and Nicole Pitell-Vaughan on Sunday. Jean Turner New Zealander Daryl Hurley returned to once again claim the 40+ Pro victory. Kurt Nicoll (shown) was disappointed not to face off with his classic rival, Doug Dubach, but was happy to take the 50+ Pro Championship.
