won the battle, but it was
Josh Strang who won the war.
This oft-used phrase perfectly
describes this weekend's Kenda
Hidden Valley Sprint Enduro held
at the Hidden Valley Golf Course
in Glen Daniel, West Virginia,
October 20-21.
After placing fourth on Satur-
day, Steward Baylor (Tely Energy
Racing KTM) rebounded Sun-
day, running the table by claim-
ing six test wins. Baylor topped
Sunday's event by a whopping
53 seconds over Strang (Rock-
star Energy Husqvarna). But it
wasn't enough to reclaim the
points lead or championship. In
the race for the championship,
Strang came into the weekend
just two points behind Steward,
and Strang's stellar performance
on Saturday, consisting of four
test wins, set him up so that all
he needed was a third-place
