arc Marquez's troublesome left shoulder
was dislocated again at Motegi. Luckily,
it happened after the race, not during it,
when an overly boisterous Scott Redding stopped
to congratulate him.
Then again, boisterous congratulations were
certainly in order for Mr. Merciless, the youngest-
ever history man of motorcycle racing.
The Repsol Honda rider had just taken his
eighth win of the year to secure his fifth MotoGP
World Championship, the seventh in all classes.
And he did it at Honda's own circuit, in front of
the very top Honda management and an ardent
55,000-strong crowd, with three races (and who
knows how many shoulders) to spare, in the
style of a champion.
