ou can always count
on MV Agusta to pull
out something special
every now and then. With a
cluttered history of one-off
F4's including the gorgeous
F4 Ago and F4 CC (Claudio
Castiglioni), we can now add
another to that list in the delec-
table F4 Claudio. Yes, another
tribute to former MV Agusta
owner Claudio Castiglioni.
Based heavily off the F4
RC, the production machine
that's been used by Jordi
Torres and formerly Leon
Camier in the WorldSBK
Championship, the F4 Clau-
dio uses a slightly modified
version of the Corsa Corta
inline four-cylinder engine
to punch out a claimed 212
horsepower at 13,450 rpm
and 85 lb-ft of torque at 9300
rpm at the crank in race trim,
with the street spec knocking
that back only slightly to 205
horsepower (torque for street
spec was unnamed).
Inside the engine sits tita-
nium conrods, a rebalanced
and lightened crankshaft,
different compression rings,
revised intake ports and DLC-
treated cam followers. The
gearbox gets up and down
quickshifting and a wet STM
slipper clutch. The exhaust
comes from SC-Project with a
laser-engraved "Claudio" writ-

MV Agusta calls
this the most
beautiful bike in
the world. It's a
point that's hard
to argue.
