IN THE WIND P52 10 IN A ROW FOR JONATHAN REA AT ARGENTINA WORLDSBK W hen they write the final history of the WorldSBK Championship, the name Jonathan Rea will crop up quite frequently, as the Northern Irish rider is dominating the modern sport so completely he is break- ing all the records that once upon a time many said would never be reached. On his Kawasaki Racing Team Ninja ZX-10RR this season, Rea has now won 16 of the 24 races run, has taken 21 podiums so far and won the championship itself last time out, for the fourth time in a row. Unwittingly the people who brought in rev limit rules have seen to it that Rea now has a bike that suits his natural riding style. "Now I really have a nice harmony with my bike. Since the Brno test we have unlocked the next level of my riding potential," said Rea. At the brand new Villicum track in Argentina, October 13-14, he and his team had zero data—just like all their rivals for a change. Rea scored a double win, even though he spent Sunday morn- ing, from one a.m. to five a.m., suffering from a stomach illness so severe he spent most of Sun- day sleeping in his rider cabin
