2011 Kawasaki Ninja 1000

M
y fantasy garage probably isn't much different
from yours: it would feature at least one of every kind of
motorcycle you could think of –
maybe more. But the chances of
my fantasy garage coming true
are… well, I won't even bother
using the word slim and just go
straight to none. I'll settle for the
few bikes I have and be happy.
But I'd be a lot happier if one of
those bikes residing there was
the 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 1000.
Since I'll never have one of
each in my garage, I do like
the idea of having one bike that
does a lot of each, kind of like
what the Ninja 1000 does. You
can get away calling the Ninja
1000 a sportbike, a standard,
a commuter, and even a tourer,
because it does all of these
things quite well, and some of
them especially well. And you
can also call it gorgeous - because it's a head turner.
But this didn't happen by accident. Kawasaki designed its
