VOL. 55 ISSUE 40 OCTOBER 9, 2018 P53 M oto Guzzi turned heads at Intermot by unveiling the production version of the V85 Tutto Terreno "Classic Enduro," which they first teased at the EICMA show last year. The V85 TT is aimed directly at the modern-classic market while reminiscing on the air- cooled enduro bikes of the 1970s. Instantly, your eyes will catch the large, 5.5-gallon rally-inspired fuel tank, twin 2019 MotoGuzzi V85 TT headlights, and distinctive front fender, along with the retro paint scheme. But the V85 TT isn't only a visual appeal. Not by a long shot. At its core, the Moto Guzzi Is powered by a 850cc V-twin engine, which is said to produce throaty 78 horsepower. The Italian engineers then fitted the V85 TT with cruise control, traction control, ABS systems, as well as three selectable riding modes (Road, Rain, Off- road). All of these settings are accessed via a full-color TFT display. Retro at heart, but not so much in the details. The V85 TT is fitted with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheel to help with light off-road riding, with suspension coming with preload adjustability. Its low seat height will also help when the going gets dirty. There's no confirmed date of when the V85 TT will make its way stateside or what it price tag will be. CN
