Since the shocks on Harley's Softails are hidden under the frame, making simple adjustments are difficult, but
with Progressive Suspension's new RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload), it is easy to tune shocks. The RAP combines Progressive's high-performance shocks with a remote preload adjuster that is easily accessible behind the
left passenger peg. The 422 RAP Series shocks are based on Progressive's gas-charged monotube damper and
are combined with heavy-duty progressive-rate springs. Threaded rod ends also provide several inches of height
adjustment.
