attle back, battle back and battle
back. That pretty much sums up the
season FMF/KTM's Russell Bobbitt
had in this year's AMA Enduro Championship. A few days before the championship
got under way in South Carolina, Bobbitt
crashed while testing and woke up in the
hospital with a concussion, but he still won
the opening round. Later in the season, he
fought through an injury to his wrist that his
doctors told him needed surgery to fix, but
he chose to stay away from the knife. And
then he dealt with a sore shoulder at one
point. And, to top it all off, he had to work
through the toughest battle of them all - his
teammate Charlie Mullins.
Through it all, Bobbitt stayed tough and
focused and came out on top, winning the
AMA National Enduro Championship at the
