Second to seventh was cov- ered by just half a second, with second Del Conca Honda rider Fabio di Giannantonio fourth, then Marcos Ramirez (Bester KTM) Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Honda) and Albert Arena (Angel Nieto KTM). Adam Norrodin (Petronas Honda) and Bester KTM rider Jaume Masia, who was beaten up from a crash in warm-up, had dropped out of the gang by the end, with John McPhee (CIP KTM) on their heels at the end in 10th. Aron Canet (EG Honda), injured at the last round in Mi- sano, started from the front row alongside Martin and Massia, fell back rapidly and retired, in too much pain to continue. Jorge Martin, all alone, smashed the Moto3 field at Aragon. Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA KTM) crashed out of the lead group to- wards the end. Niccolo Antonelli (SIC58 Honda) also fell, after working through to a potential top 10 after a back-of-grid pen- alty. Martin's sixth win extends his lead over Bezzecchi 191 to 178.
