the win in the Vet class, even after
making a few small mistakes dur-
ing the main event. Second place
belonged to Dan Hayakawa, and

In the Women's class, it was all
about Shelby Turner. After strug-
gling in round one in Arizona with
fatigue and pain from a recent
injury to her leg, the defending
champion came in to round two
fired up. She battled with Kacy
Martinez-Coy in the opening laps,
until Martinez-Coy made a few
mistakes, allowing Turner to pull
away. When the checkered flag
waved, it was Turner leading the
way and the KTM rider in second.
Beta USA's Morgan Tanke
fought through an ankle injury
(suffered earlier in the day) to
get through the main, ultimately
one of us could have crashed
but fortunately I made it. I am so
happy with how I rode."
Third place wasn't what Webb
was after but probably wasn't all
that bad after revealing he injured
his shoulder before the race.
"I had a rough week and am
a little beat up right now after a
crash this week," Webb said. "I
didn't even know that Trystan was
closing on me until he was there
and then I crashed on that last
lap. So I am not happy with the
result but will go get some physio
