VOL. 55 ISSUE 37 SEPTEMBER 18, 2018 P29 RIDERS ATTEND KCF 1ST RESPONDERS TRAINING COURSE T he Kurt Caselli Foundation (KCF) hosted its first Rid- ers 1st Responders Training Course at the Fox Racing office in Irvine, California, September 16. It was held in conjunction with round two of the AMA EnduroCross series, which took place at the nearby Orange County Fairgrounds the night before. The program is designed to train/certify motorcycle riders in First Aid/CPR to allow them to better assist a downed fellow rider. The KCF funded most of the cost so the fee for participants was just a $25 donation. The training was conducted by Life Goes On and the 25 slots filled up quickly with en- thusiastic participants. Colton Haaker, the winner of the EnduroCross main event the night before attended along with his wife Hannah and their three-month-old daughter, London. Geoff Aaron (the 10-time U.S. Trials Champion and EnduroCross competi- tor) and his wife, Kerry, were also among the participants. This was the first of several planned events that will be scheduled in conjunction with other off-road events/racing series throughout the country. Keep an eye on the KCF website and Social Media feeds for those future events. CN EnduroCross winner Colton Haaker was among those who participated in the Kurt Caselli Riders 1st Responders Training Course.
