On the first lap Mischler was caught on the outside and dropped all the way to 10th before starting his charge to the front. Whale, Carlile, Bromley and Jesse Janisch (Roof-Systems of Dallas/West Bend Harley- Davidson, Yamaha YZ450F) were fighting over the last podium spot when Mischler came blasting by taking third on lap 13. Whale, Carlile, Brandon Price (Parkinson Brothers Racing/Roof-Systems, Honda CRF450R), Bromley, Janisch, Ol- iver Brindley and Kevin Stollings rounded out the top 10. I felt a little pressured, but I knew if I just hit the right marks, I had it in the bag." Texter tried to use a high line, but just couldn't get a drive and slowly lost contact with Dean as the two leaders pulled away from a large pack of riders. "I knew you needed the holeshot to win the race," said Dean. "I just hit my marks and led the whole race and came out with the win. It was very difficult. There were a few bumps here and there, but I found my way around them. I just kept my head down. I knew Shayna was right behind me. She ran a really good Briar Bauman (14) had the Williams Grove track dialed. Even 2018 champ Jared Mees couldn't hold him back.
