DUVALL MOWS THEM DOWN AT
GRASSMAN NATIONAL ENDURO
T
had Duvall returned to the
scene of the crime at the
Grassman National Enduro in
Zanesville, Ohio, August 26. Two
years ago, when Duvall was riding
the Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series
for a satellite team, the West Vir-
ginia rider entered the Grassman
Enduro at the urging of Rockstar
Energy Husqvarna team manager
Timmy Weigand. Duvall won the
event and it ultimately led to a two-
year factory deal with the team.
The Kenda AMA National
Enduro Series returned to Ohio
in 2018 for the seventh round of
the series and Duvall remained
undefeated at the event by, once
again, taking the Grassman
National Enduro first-place trophy
home after topping Steward Bay-
lor by 1 minute and 36 seconds.
The win was even more signifi-
cant since Duvall was returning
to competition after missing the
previous two rounds due to injury.
"I showed up two years ago
just to have some fun and I ended
up winning the thing, so this is a
special place for me, for sure,"
said Duvall. "I had pretty high
expectations coming in here; this
race is pretty close to my house
and the dirt is similar to what I
ride, plus I feel like I'm close to
100%, so to get this win and to
do it in the fashion that I did feels
really good."
Duvall left no doubt as to who
was the top performer on the day
by winning the final four of six
tests, while finishing second in
tests one and two. Grant Baylor
won the first test, with Josh Toth(
FMF KTM Factory Racing) win-
