was back home in New Zealand,
finished second. Third place
went to Chad Lewin (Team Lewin
Estates/Yamaha).
"My goal coming into this
weekend was to repeat Sonoma,
and thankfully I did it because
the crew behind me really
stepped up this round and really
seat for the championship after
dominating the Stock 1000 field
with pole position and the race
victory.
The championship points
leader had the measure of the
field in the red-flag-shortened
event and won by nearly seven
seconds. Shane Richardson

charged right back into
title contention with the
Pittsburgh win.
