But while the Geico Honda
team got to celebrate a 1-2 result
within easy driving distance of
Geico's headquarters, it was
Plessinger who is bringing home
the number-one plate to his
brand new baby boy, Jake.
"I'm speechless right now,"
Plessinger said. "It's been a heck
of a season, from Hangtown, to
having a couple bad races, to a
couple 1-1s, and before I knew it I
was here! I don't even know. It's
been great, and I've had fun, and
I think that's what it's all about.
I keep a smile on my face even
when I'm not doing too good, and
I keep it light. I have a baby boy
to go back to, and my fiancé, and
I'm living a dream life right now. I
don't think it could get any better
right now." CN

Hampshire held strong up
front to win his first-ever AMA
Pro National event, winning the

became a reality.
