SPEEDY REEDY
Chad Reed was incensed at being
snubbed to represent Team Australia
at the RedBud Motocross of Na-
tions, and he was spotted during the
week doing some testing with the
AutoTrader/Yoshimura Suzuki team
in North Carolina. In an Instagram
post with him aboard an Autotrader/
Yoshimura/Suzuki RMZ450, he said,
"In our sport every rider tests for dif-
ferent teams; it's just always private
because of contract obligations.
Today I'm in a unique position of no
manufacturer contract. So today I'll
try share my fun experience testing
the factory @jgrmx bike. Reed is
looking for a ride for 2019, as he has
indicated that although he wants to
keep racing supercross, he won't do it
on his own dime anymore. Rumor has
it he might be planning to suit up and
race at the Ironman MX finale next
weekend in an attempt to show he still

Roczen was going to get
his first overall victory since
coming back from injuries.
He won the first moto but
the heat and humidity got
to him the second moto.
