FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
ROUND 9 / AUGUST 3-5, 2018
BRNO CIRCUIT/ OSTROVAICE, CZECH REPUBLIC

Dovi was in front, Marquez
third, and at the end of it Loren-
zo fourth ahead of Crutchlow,
Danilo Petrucci (Alma Pramac
Ducati) and Johann Zarco
(Monster Yamaha).
Dovi stayed in front as there
was some minor shuffling:

Crutchlow for a couple of laps
only, and then on lap seven
Rossi through from second to
steal inside Dovi on the right-
hander before the stadium
section.
He stayed there for three
laps, but Rossi admitted, "I
wasn't fast enough to fight with
the Ducatis or Marquez. I didn't
future but for sure they are one op-

a clear vision about the future. But

Other delegates to the conference,
including Yamaha and KTM, said

electric bike area, but eschewed
the potential of a hybrid future.

tant, and we need to keep that, so I
don't think there is a case for hybrid
power."

at least one more. With the Austrian
GP next weekend and Martin flying
home to Spain for surgery to repair
his broken radius bone, the chances
of speedy recovery are clearly slen-
der. "It was not a big crash, but the
landing on my hand was very heavy,"
he said. Martin has won five of the
first nine races, but also no-scored
three times with race crashes, two
