I
t's safe to say that Marvin Musquin and Ken Roczen
are two of the best motocross racers in the world
today, but late in the second moto at Washougal
Motocross Park, in Washougal, Washington, Eli Tomac
was reeling them in at a rate of four seconds per lap!
This goes to show you just how fast Tomac was going.
At that rate, no one can stop Tomac, not even Roczen
or Musquin.
After losing the first moto to Tomac by over 11 sec-
onds, Musquin had to come up with a new plan and
changed out his entire front-fork assembly, which is
an extreme move in between motos, but it didn't make
a difference. Tomac still won, even though halfway
through the second moto when it looked as though he
wouldn't even have a chance. Instead, Tomac caught
fire and reeled in both Musquin, then Roczen, in the
closing laps and took the second-moto win with a few
seconds to spare to claim the overall victory for the
Tomac Defines
