IN THE WIND P54 MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS – REWIND I n need of a supercross fix? Check out Monster Energy Supercross – Rewind: Fall Down Seven Times … featuring Jason Anderson. It is currently airing on the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, YouTube Channel. Monster Energy Supercross – Rewind is a web-based series consisting of footage gleaned from the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Championship and beyond. "Our cameras went behind the scenes and got up close and personal with the premiere athletes in the sport," read a release from Feld Enter- tainment. "The result was an opportunity to showcase a more personal side of America's fastest grow- ing motorsport, bringing current and new fans closer to the men under the helmets." Airing every Monday through the end of July, look for a wide variety of topics and angles as they also pull vintage footage from the annals of supercross history. CN PALMESE, HORN WIN 2018 AMA SPEEDWAY YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS T he AMA congratulated Se- bastian Palmese and Travis Horn on being named AMA National Champions at the 2018 AMA Speedway Youth Champi- onship. The event, which took place July 13 at the Gold County Fair- grounds in Auburn, California, pitted the best young speedway racing talent in the nation against each other in two competition classes. All participants were 16 or younger. For Palmese, 14, of Mission Viejo, California, it was his third time claiming the 250cc Youth National Speedway Champion- ship. The competition for the class title was close as Palmese beat runner-up Landon Norton by a single point. For Horn, 10, of La Verne, California, it was his first time winning the 150cc Youth National Speedway Champion- ship. He finished third in the 2017 150cc championship. "The AMA congratulates Sebastian, Travis and all of the young speedway racers who competed in the 2018 AMA Speedway Youth National Championship," AMA Track Rac- ing Manager Ken Saillant said. "These young competitors put on a great show and I am sure we will be seeing some of them as top Division 1 competitors in the future." Palmese and Horn will receive their AMA number-one plates at the AMA Championship Ban- quet, part of the AMA Legends & Champions Weekend, Decem- ber 7-9, at the Hilton Columbus/ Polaris in Columbus, Ohio.
