IN THE WIND P56 WHITE ROSE HILLCLIMB RAINED OUT T he White Rose AMA Pro Hillclimb in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, sched- uled for July 28, was rained out. The White Rose Motorcycle Club's facility was flooded thanks to receiving 13 inches of rain the week leading up to the event. A make-up date has not yet been an- nounced. CN 2018 AMA HILLCLIMB GRAND CHAMPIONS NAMED T he 2018 AMA Hillclimb Grand Championship was held at the Quaboag Riders Motorcycle Club in Monson, Massachusetts, July 29, where 25 class champion- ships were up for grabs. When all was said and done, three riders stood out above the rest. Brock Riffe earned the AMA Hillclimb Racer of the Year, Lane Brookshaw was the AMA Youth Hillclimb Racer of the Year, and Mike Wood was the Vet/Senior Hillclimb Racer of the Year. Riffe came away with two class wins in 400cc Stock and 250cc classes. For Brookshaw, it was his sec- ond Youth title, the last coming in 2016. He topped the Mini Jr. and 65cc classes. Top senior rider, Wood, won the Senior and Super Senior classes. CN Flooding in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, forced the cancelation of the AMA Pro White Rose Hillclimb.
