Debise's Suzuki GSX-R600 was pulled from the
race with a mechanical issue. That left the two pals
all alone up front, with Cory West (TSE Racing Ya-
maha) holding off the advances of Nick McFadden
(M4 medAge Suzuki), Braeden Ortt (Fastline Per-
formance/Tuned Racing Yamaha) and Bryce Prince
(SC Project/KWR Yamaha) in what was a four-rider
battle for the final podium spot.
In the championship race, Beaubier leads on
248 to Elias' 199; Scholtz sits third with 152, Her-
rin fourth on 151 and Gerloff fifth on 131.

JD Beach (Monster Energy/Y.E.S./Graves Ya-
maha) made like a ball and bounced his way to a
double victory at Utah, extending his lead in the
series to a whopping 82 points over pole sitter
Hayden Gillim (Rickdiculous Racing Yamaha), who
left with 2-DNF results following his race-two crash.
Beach had to contend with Gillim throwing
everything at him in race one but coming up 1.3
seconds short; however, there was a protago-
