Plessinger took the overall on the day with a 1-1 score over Cooper's 4-3 for second overall and Martin's 7-2 for third. The 14 points Martin lost to Plessinger on the day pushed Plessinger out to a 49-point lead with four rounds (eight motos) left to run. "Last time I went 1-1 and then had a few bad races," Plessinger said. "I rebounded at RedBud, but it was pretty disheartening going 1-1 then not having too great of races. That really put me Justin Cooper made it a 1-2 finish for the Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha Team.
