Eleven-year-old Earl Roloff Jr. topped the
100cc Novice main during scrambles racing at
Fremont Raceway in California.
Broc Glover was the star on the cover of Cycle News 40 years ago.
He was the big winner at the 125cc U.S. GP at Mid-Ohio. Glover won
both motos, taking the overall ahead of Garard Rond and Marty
Moates… Hank Scott had little difficulty winning the Sacramento Mile;
Steve Morehead was second and Korky Keener third… We profiled
19-year-old road racer Randy Mamola… Bruce Ogilvie was one of
the big winners at the Viewfinders Dual European Scrambles in Red
Mountain, California.
