MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS ROUND 8 / JUNE 21, 2018 MILLVILLE, MINNESOTA / SPRING CREEK MX P62 moto two, though. Bogle got another holeshot (his fourth of the six motos he's raced thus far in 2018) over Musquin, Roczen and Baggett, while Tomac ran about eighth off the start. Tomac seemed remarkably patient in Justin Hill, Benny Bloss and Suzuki privateer Kyle Cunning- ham in 12th. Bogle hung on for 14th, which was his best moto finish so far since he returned to action a few races ago. The ride of the day came in order was Tomac by over 13 seconds over Roczen, Baggett, Musquin, Justin Barcia (Monster Energy Yamaha), Weston Peick, Cooper Webb, Phil Nicoletti (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna), Yamaha privateer Henry Miller, area but it loosened up a bit so figured I could salvage something. I got 11th. It was tough and [I'm] pretty bummed on the weekend." FAST STARTER BOGLE AutoTrader/Yoshimura Suzuki's Justin Bogle has gotten the holeshot in four of the six motos he's raced so far in 2018, but more importantly, he's get- ting better and better during the rest of the motos. He won a couple motos and an overall in 2017. At Millville, Bogle got the holeshot in moto two and recorded his two best finishes so far, with a 14-12 for 12th overall. FORKNER FALL OUT Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Ka- wasaki's Austin Forkner has been one of the fastest 250cc racers on the track for the past few races at least, and often he's downright the fastest, but things have not been working for him in terms of putting two motos together. And an argu- ment can be made that it's not even his fault. At Southwick, he won the first moto, only to get T-boned by Alex Martin in the second moto while leading to end up 20th. A race later at RedBud, he had just passed Aaron Plessinger for the lead when Plessinger took his line away exiting a turn and he hit the deck, scoring a DNF and recovering for second place in the second moto. And then at Millville, Forkner grabbed a solid second in the first moto and was running fourth in the second moto when a lapper drifted into him in the air off a jump and he went down hard. He had to go to the mechan- ics' area to get repairs and ended up 18th in the moto. Briefly... Marvin Musquin was hoping to build on his points lead but 4-2 results saw him lose the red plate.
