ALPINESTARS LAUNCHES NEW SUPERTECH M10 HELMET A lpinestars is famous for its protective gear for both off-road and street, but it recently announced its first helmet—the Supertech M10—that made its debut in January at the Anaheim I Supercross (worn by Broc Tickle) after five years of development. On July 12, at Milestone Raceway in California, Alpinestars introduced the Super- tech M10 off-road helmet to the media. The helmet—its outer construction made out of carbon fiber—has a number of unique features, including a non-adjustable but integrated visor with release system, and a MIPS system unique to the M10 helmet. It also features an extra-large eye port, a rubber-like cushion at the bottom of the chin bar to help prevent collarbone inju- ries, plenty of venting, and an adjustable crown liner, so you can adjust how high or low the helmet sits on your head via its "A Head" system. You can also adjust the front-to-back tilt of the helmet. The helmet is very light at a claimed weight of 2.7 pounds. It sells for $649.95. We will have a full review in an upcoming issue of Cycle News. CN Alpinestars introduced its first helmet, the Supertech M10 off-road helmet, to the media.
