also fell out of the front pack.
Le Mans winner Phillip Oettl
(Sudmetal KTM) fought through
to the front pack after finishing
lap one 18th, but had dropped
to eighth at the end. Raul Fer-
nandez (replacing the injured
Brad Binder on the Red Bull
KTM) was an excellent ninth.
Close behind Ayumu Sasaki
(Petrons Honda) narrowly held
off teammate Adam Norrodin to
complete the top ten.
Martin's points advantage
over Bezzecchi is now 130 to
123. Canet moved to third on
92, displacing non-scorers di
Giannantonio (91) and Bastiani-
ni (84). CN
They were the survivors of
a swarming melee around the
shortest and tightest track of
the year, with some significant
casualties.
One was Martin's teammate
Fabio di Giannantonio, who
fell after tagging his teammate
into the first corner; Martin was
lucky not to fall as well.
Another was Catalan GP
winner Enea Bastianini (Leop-
ard Honda), fastest in morning
warm-up, struggling to secure a
top-10 place when he fell, taking
early front running rookie Alonso
Lopez (EG Honda) down with
him.
Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA KTM)
It's all falling into place
for Jorge Martin (88)
who took a second
consecutive Moto3 win.
