he Husqvarna FS 450
supermoto gets a major
redo for 2019. It's built on
the same platform as the all-new
2019 Husqvarna FC 450 moto-
crosser, and the most notable
change is the FS's completely
redesigned bodywork. Less
noticeable is the new, more
compact SOHC cylinder head
that is 1.1 pounds lighter, and
2019 Husqvarna FS 450 supermoto
the new, two-piece subframe
that is more than a half-pound
lighter. In all, at a claimed 226.9
pounds (dry), the new FS 450
is approximately five pounds
lighter than the previous model.
Other notable updates
include a blue-coated frame
that has been redesigned for
increased rigidity, revised WP
AER 48 forks and WP DCC
shock settings, and new fuel-
line and throttle-cable routing.
The 2019 Husqvarna FS 450
will be available in September.
