DUI:ATI, OAKLEY TIE KNOT AGAIN Ducati has decided to extend its successful existing licensing agreement with ren owned eyewear company O akley, for an additional three yea rs. The relationship will be strengthened with the arrival of flve exclusive new models of Oakley eye wear. New for 2004, Ducati and Oakley will introduce custom versions of O akley's Monste r DogT and Zero sunglasses and w ill continue to offer last year's successful custom Juliet, Half-Jacket and Valvestyles. In addition to sunglasses, Ducati and O akley will also offer the Wisdom snow goggle fo r the 2004 fall season , a product that takes Ducati's passion fo r speed and aerodynamics to the mountains - the Italian Alps and Do lomites, of course . All products covered by the agreement featu re color schemes and graphic treatments co nsistent with the Ducati brand and bear laser-engraved lenses with Ducati trademarks, among other unique features. The prod ucts will be distributed through the Ducati Sto re and dealership network and O akley's sunglass distribution po ints worldwide, including over 100 O akley-owned retail locations. "With the evolution of t his relationship we are now able to offer additional Ducati-inspired performance eyewear pieces to our en hanced dealer distribution netw o rk," said David Gross, creative director of Ducati Moto r, "It is particu larly exciting for us conside ring the fact that ou r top racers in the past have always chosen Oakley eyewear."
