The wins. went to three di fferent riders: J ohn Skinner, Arnie Mahnke a nd Bill Snyd er. Bill Sn yder powered hi s Honda to th e Senior Plus 40 ti tle by wi n n ing the last ni ght's event a lo ng wi th th e First, J ohn Kol enda 's secon d ro u nd win gave him seco nd overa ll ove r Rock Wat son. While Paul Lynch was sweeping th e 125cc class, Ni cky Hayden a nd Bryan Bigelow were fini shing secon d and 'th ird overall resp ectiv ely. N icky a lso finished seco nd to Paul in the 250cc B series. Twelve-year-old John Winsell, J r. was th e o n ly representative of the Pen ns ylva n ia Winsetts, but h e did very well in the 85cc (12-15) a nd 85cc DTX classes. Winset t won both rounds of the DTX class a t Daytona, but J eremy Thompson wa s th e ov erall series winner with a seco nd and two third place finish es.
