IN THE WIND P28 NEW ELECTRIC OFF-ROADER FROM CAKE—SOUNDS GOOD! C ake, a Swedish company, is developing a line of light electric off-road motorbikes, including its Kalk model. The new electric motorcycle features Ohlins suspension, 24-inch tires and a solar charger that can recharge the Kalk's 2.6 kWh battery pack in 90 minutes. The Kalk weighs 150 pounds and sells for about $13,000. More information is available at https://ridecake.com. CN Swedish company Cake is developing its own line of electric off-road motorcycles. SALVINI WINS ENDUROGP OF TRENTINO I talian Alex Salvini scored the overall win at round five of the 2018 FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship in Arco di Trento, Italy, June 30. The Enduro GP of Trentino was unique to the championship in that it was made up of three MX heats, followed by an Enduro Test, and concluded with an Xtreme Test. Salvini (Husqvarna) shined in the more technical sec- tions. The race for the EnduroGP class ended up boiling down to a two-man showdown between Salvini and Steve Holcombe (Beta), with Salvini emerging on top ap- proximately 20 seconds ahead of Holcombe, who came away with the Enduro 3 class win. This was Salvini's fifth win of the championship. Third place about a minute back in EnduroGP was French- man Loic Larrieu (Yamaha). The UK's Daniel McCaney (GasGas) was fourth and Italy's Giacoma Redondi (KTM) was fifth overall.
