Barcia Hopeful For A1 Start N ew factory TLD/Red Bull Ducati rider Justin Barcia revealed last week that he suffered a broken collarbone in Florida while training for the start of the Monster Energy AMA Super - cross Series. Unfortunately for Barcia, it's not a typical broken collarbone, as it's in the same area that was previously broken and plated, which complicates recovery. "I only had about a week or so on the bike," he said on social media. "Things were going good, but yeah, just had a weird crash, got really lucky to only break the collarbone." He added, "I had a plate in there, had to take a plate out, put a new one in, so a little more tricky than usual." Barcia says he's hoping to get on the bike again around New Year's, which won't give him much time to get ready for Anaheim 1, especially on a new bike and team. "We're going to do everything we can to be really good—get the bike working," he said. "Obviously, new bike, there's going to be lots of challenges, but I have a group around me that can make things happen and get me comfortable. [I] can't wait to get back on the bike, get back to racing, and show you guys what I got." CN Justin Barcia is hopeful to be on the start line at Anaheim 1 after suffering a broken collarbone while training. WIND IN THE P48 Lando Norris Offered MotoGP Test N ew Formula One World Champion Lando Nor- ris has reportedly been offered the opportu- nity to test a Tech3 KTM MotoGP machine by the team's new owner, Guenther Steiner, highlighting the growing crossover interest between elite-level car and motorcycle racing. The McLaren driver, known for his enthusiasm for motorcycles and regular appearances at Mo - toGP events, has previously spoken openly about his admiration for the sport and its riders and is close friends with Valentino Rossi. The proposed test would see Norris sample a current-spec Tech3 KTM, giving him firsthand experience of MotoGP machinery under controlled conditions. Tech3 team management has not officially commented on the offer, but the idea aligns with MotoGP's recent efforts to broaden its global au - dience by engaging personalities from other top- tier motorsports. KTM, in particular, has embraced high-profile collaborations and promotional op - portunities across racing disciplines. If completed, the test would place Norris among a small group of Formula One drivers to experience a modern MotoGP race bike. CN F1 World Champion Lando Norris (on the back of a scooter with Valentino Rossi) could be on track with a KTM RC16 in the near future.
