BOGLE SIDELINED
AGAIN
A
utotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki's Justin Bogle sat
out the Anaheim I Supercross.
Bogle had a pretty big crash at the Monster En-
ergy Cup in October, and after taking time to recover
from that, he had a similar crash while practicing
during the off-season. While he was in attendance at
A-I, he wasn't on a motorcycle. There's no timeline
yet as to when Bogle will return to action. CN

JOSH MORROS, FORMER OFF-ROAD
RACER, PASSES
J
osh Morros, a promising up-and-coming off-road racer whose career was cut short by a brain injury
that he suffered in a fall while competing in a national hare & hound in 2008, passed away on De-
cember 24, 2017. He was 26.
According to his mother, Teresa, details of his death are still being investigated, but it appears that he
fell (non-motorcycle related), but it is not yet known if that's what caused his death.
Services for Morros were held on Saturday, December 30 in Sparks, Nevada.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for dona-
tions to help others with brain injuries and neuro-
logical conditions through the BECAUSE I CAN
program. The family is working toward the goal
of raising $10,000. Visit the GoFundMe page to
make a donation.
Following his devastating crash in 2008,
Josh spent 24 days in a coma. His recovery
astonished doctors, and it was nothing short of
a miracle that Josh went on to speak and walk
again. After that, Josh and his mother Teresa
created the non-profit organization B.R.A.I.N.
(Brain Recovery Assistance Institute of Nevada)
in order to help and encourage others to over-
come brain injuries.
A local news station in Reno, Nevada did
a segment about Teresa Morros and her mis-
sion to continue the non-profit she and her son
started. Click here to see the video. CN
