or 2017 Zero Motorcycles has upgraded
its complete line of electric-power street
bikes, which include the Zero SR, S, DS,
DSR, FX (dual sport) and FSX (supermoto)
models.
All feature updated styling, but what's really im-
portant is that the company promises all of their
'17 bikes boast more power, more torque, better
overall performance and, perhaps most impor-
tantly, improved battery range. Zero claims they
can exceed 200 miles on a single charge now.
Suggested retail prices range from $8495 to
$15,995. However, U.S. buyers can take ad-
vantage of a 10% federal tax credit, making the
effective price range from $7645 to $14,395.
Additionally, states offer incentives (such as
California's $900 rebate) that drop the effective
prices even lower. CN
