"Yes, I favor the higher-end models myself, but it's
good to know Honda can do it for less."
Big-Bore ADV Shootout
Here in Canada there is a waiting
list [for the Africa Twin]. Honda
will prove that a conservative
adventure bike will be hard to
beat. It's a pity they are so late at
coming to the plate.
Yes, the European following
for BMW will always be strong,
but Honda has BMW and the
rest looking over their shoulder.
Gordon Sinclair
The parallel twin design is a
smoother-running engine over
V-twin or 90-degree designs.
Big price difference, and the
Honda is well liked. If you want
to enjoy your ride without being
looked at for prestige, it sounds
like Honda has it together.
Nothing wrong with cable
controls, they've been working
well for many years and just
require a little maintenance at
times that anyone can do.
Yes, I favor the higher-end
models myself, but it's good to
know Honda can do it for less.

After reading several reviews
and riding a few other bikes, I
went with the Africa Twin and
I've never been happier. While
it's a little less refined than the
European ADV bikes, it suits
my needs the best. I've clocked
over 2500 trouble-free miles
and it rides like a large dual
sport off-road.
John Richardson
I test rode all except the Ducati,
but I owned the Hypermoto
1100 SP and traded it for the
KTM 1190 R. I've ridden the
wheels off a KLR650, DR-
Z400, XR600, and many other
dual, enduro, and motocross
models. With an honest heart, I
can tell you that the KTM is the
best!

Klim KTM 690 Project
Manufacturers! Listen to this
article. Listen! A torquey
parallel twin in this weight
range would be quiet, fuel
efficient and smooth. Enough
torque for the rocky bits, light
enough for the sketchy bits and
comfortable enough for the
straight bits! That's adventure.
Not a 500-pound couch going
down a highway or gravel road.

Yamaha T7 Concept
If they build it like the
concept, it will sell incredibly
well! We don't want/need a
1000cc/500-pound monster in
the dirt.

Honda CRF250L
Rally Revealed
Honda, please give the people
what they want: A CRF450L
that is highly off-road capable,
light, fast, well suspended and
reasonably priced. Design it
so many CRF450R parts will
interchange. You build it and
buyers will come in droves.
