to simply salvage whatever points he could rather
than try to beat Burson in the Beta rider's backyard.
"I know Burson has ridden here a ton—he's fast
in this kind of stuff—so I obviously wanted to go and
beat him, but realistically, I'm thinking to myself to
salvage points," Graffunder said. "I had second
pretty much wrapped up and Travis [Coy] got me
on my last pit. Those guys were able to do one [pit]
stop strategy and I had to do two."
Nick Stover gave it everything he had in winning
the FMF 250cc Pro class, finishing fourth overall
aboard his 3 Brothers Husqvarna TC 250. Piian
Systems KTM's Ryan Kudla—another Hungry Valley
regular—rounded out the top five overall.
