LEGENDS AND HEROES BACK FOR MORE
he Legends and Heroes
Tour got rolling this past
weekend at Angel Stadium in
Anaheim, California, with the
traveling moto museum starting
its fifth year with a new and improved set-up.
The Legends and Heroes Tour
was first conceived in 2009 to
supply vintage bikes for the Supercross and Motocross series
and it has come a long way since
then. With help from Gary Bailey,
the tour renovated Bailey's original MX school fifth wheel into the
first traveling moto museum.
The AMA Supercross season opener at Angel Stadium
kicked-off the industry's first digital media moto museum tour. In
addition to displaying past champion's machines and historical
paraphernalia, a state of the art
digital showcase of the history of
the sport plays in an audio-visual
theater format.
As well as honoring the champions and machines from the
past 40 years of Supercross
throughout the 2014 tour, the
Legends and Heroes team also
invites fans to join them the night
before Anaheim II for a "Reunion
of Champions." Join the Legends and Heroes Tour from 5-8
p.m. on Friday, January 17 at the
OC Sports Bar, which is located
at 450 N State College Blvd, Orange, California. All former Supercross Champions have been
invited, with such notables as
Pierre Karsmakers, Jimmy Ellis, Bob Hannah, Mark Barnett,
Donnie Hansen, and Jeff Ward
scheduled to attend.
The new and
improved
Legends And
Heroes Tour
will be making
stops at all
of this year's
Supercross
rounds.
