VOL. 50 ISSUE 36 SEPTEMBER 10, 2013 Ricky Johnson and whoever else shows up to support the cause. And we'll be meeting those who do likewise from Toyota of Escondido with four-time World Champion Eddie Lawson; and those who opt to ride in from Cycle Visions-Eagle Rider San Diego in Old Town in San Diego with Glover; and with those who will meet up with another ex-motocrosser and friend of Glover from the area, Scott Burnworth, as he leads a group from MotoWorld of El Cajon. Once there, those who attend the event (either by riding in, or getting there any way they can) will also be able to take part in the 2013 Celebration of the Motorcycle event that will be the setting for the Glover ride at the fairgrounds. For a $50 donation, attendees will get admission, free parking, an event T-shirt, raffle tickets, a Breathe Easy Ride In poster, a Celebration of the Motorcycle poster and more. There's also a little added bonus: Plenty of legends to sign those posters… men like Skip van Leeuwen, David Bailey, Jeff Ward, Bruce Penhall, Robbie Maddison, Danny LaPorte, Dave Ekins, Mark Blackwell, Tom White, Marty Tripes… just to name a few. And then there's the one guy who is really my favorite – Kel Carruthers. As Rick Johnson said on Glover's radio show on Sunday morning when Broc was thanking him for being the ride-in captain from Mission Motorsports… "All you had to do was ask." And he's right. Glover didn't have to bend anyone's arm to get them to do this. They're doing it because they know of Dayne Glover's plight. They know of others in the same situation. And they just want to help. And they're motorcyclists. And that's what motorcyclists do. Hope to see you there.
